Description – An evening of live jazz music and an opportunity to celebrate the support offered by Bristol Chaplaincy.  During the evening we will be raising essential funds for the charity, including a raffle and a short presentation showcasing the work of the charity.  Food and Drinks will be available to be purchased from behind the bar.

About the Band – The incredible JET Trio will be performing two 1 hour sets, bringing their captivating brand of grooving, swinging jazz.

The trio is comprised of 3 exciting young musicians in the South Wales music scene; drummer Jimmy Yeung, bassist Ethan Evans and pianist Tom Barber, all of whom contribute compositions to the shared repertoire of the group.

The trio formed around a shared love of the classic 1950’s and 60’s sounds of Cedar Walton, Thelonious Monk and Ahmad Jamal. JET have begun to carve their own sound, combining earthy grooves with a melodic sensibility and wry arrangements.
